Who would have thought Fire & Blood would lose to Blood & Cheese.
Lyanna Mormant was a warrior till the end...ended killing a giant at her last breath, What a lady ....
I am okay with the show changing events given the whole "Fire and Blood is told through a biased narrator", that's okay but give me something interesting as the alternative. I am fine with removing on-screen gore but do keep the emotional turmoil. The show's Blood and Cheese come off as buffoons who stumble upon the Queen and the kids rather assassins coming for the kill. Whose brilliant idea was it to make the POV of the sequence of that of B & C's, the audience should not be anticipating whether or not, they will make the kill but rather feel remorseful about children dying.
Немного дней осталось и Ахиллесу творить беспредел.
Game of thrones ending would be so good for me..if she became ruler of seven kingdoms at the end😌. As for me in the whole game of thrones she is the perfect leader.
"You speak portugese" [proceeds to speak in english], So anmoying ffs
What's the name of this movie or series please??? Thank you 😉.
What's the name of the movie ?
She killed that mf giant!
Jaehaera saying mommy when Helaena carried her was sad
The better version. Show version is utter garbage.
She didn't seem so tough in the arena. If not for all those men, and male dragon, both those ladies would be dead.
If only the last season ended with Dany and Jon joined hand and took back the Kingdom from Cersei instead of whatever BS that happened...
I wonder if the maesters weren't bribed to make him sick.
Worst character. Dies from a paper cut
سلام اسم سریال مادر اژدهایان و شکننده زنجیر ها هست
She was the best character, a very strong one
Really? Where the Karstarks loyal? Or the Boltons? Or the other houses who turned away for fear? Naaah.
W edit
Маленькая храбрая леди!❤❤❤😎😎😎😎💪💪💪💪
I just wanted the line "hear that little boy, your mama wants you dead". Like that perfectly captures the monstrosity of this scene, and they didn't use it. That's my only complaint for B&C episode.
Maelor wasn't in the room
Yeah but then you realize they stupidly wrote Maelor out of existence
@honinakecheta601 same with aegon and aemond brother.
@@senister14 Daeron exists he’s just at old town ain’t he??? Edit: just looked that up and he really doesn’t exist, wtf were they thinking????😂🚮
@@honinakecheta601 that they don't care about the books, just doing the message. This ship is going down fast.
Absolutely, one of the most badass characters in that show, hands down
The North remembers
All these "bring back D&D" posts just makes me know that a lot of so-called purists didn't hate GoT's cheap, gawdy, shock value spectacle writing, what they hated was their self-insert (whether Dany, Jon or Stannis) not sitting the throne. I LOVED the restraint on B&C. This episode was peak bleak, dread soaked gothic horror. A diff kind of creeping horror, the haunting soundtrack with the cutting & sawing noises creates a terrible beauty! The "emotional impact" the MCU brain wanted was heavy-handed head chopping gratuitous violence. But unsettling silent horror will always be more disturbing than gory theatrics. The book's B&C is an overly sadistic creative writing exercise of cartoon villains (makes sense considering it's made by fictional 'historians'). The extended psychological torment of Helaena strains credibility as B&C had no personal vendetta against her & were risking their own skin lingering around the Red Keep playing games during a war. The show deconstructs how history is shaped by the ideological & social biases of maesters. It exchanges gore for dread, presents it as a straightforward hit, with the grim realism underscoring the obv urgency & perilous stakes B&C was in. This was almost scarier, as 'historians' would make it seem the Dance is a Machiavellian countenance that furthers propaganda againt the oppostion. When in reality it’s some plebs willing to do anything for Dameon’s scraps. Which is spine chilling in a separate way & showcases the banality of evil. It's almost more sickening & unsettling even if less gory. GoT was about brutality & shock geared for a dramatic reaction. Hotd is about building up a creeping unease of dread. GoT was about the stab, Hotd is about digging in & slowly pulling a wound open.
It's easy to write a woman screaming & throwing up. But the brutally real, emotionally complex human reaction that phia managed using only her eyes. It was so powerful that you can deeply feel the terror and pain by looking through her eyes without needing to see what's happening in front of her. Helaena's freeze frame reaction was completelty on point with her autism coded cassandra character & it was absolutely devastating & impactful.instead of screams and thrashes the utter pain and horror in her eyes alone MADE the whole performance. The total silence surrounding b&c & its aftermath has made it even more jarring to watch. Of course helaena called jaehaerys “the boy”. she was traumatized, completely dissociated and mimicking the speech of blood & cheese to express what happened when she couldn’t put it into words herself, as many individuals do especially in periods of high stress/trauma. This is a woman who's often adrift when engaging with people & suddenly she's alone in an ordeal that's entirely without one. Loved that they chose to stay on her instead of the little boy. It feels so horribly anchored in Heleana's perspective, like the act isn't something she can perceive or engage with emotionally even as it's happening. Phia's acting was phenomenal. You could pinpoint the exact moment when something in Helaena switches. It's like she has a moment of realization as she already foresaw this & she knew she couldn’t prevent what was about to happen. It was this look of quiet panic & resignation. You can clearly see helaena dissociating here. she didn't even realize that she got down the stairs. When she did, the first place she thought of was her mother's room because she felt safe with alicent the most Helaena's "cold" reaction was her detaching herself as a coping mechanism. Her being calm & decisive in that moment was likely her mind trying to protect itself, not that she doesn’t love her son. Not everyone screams & throws up when faced with agony. Some go into shock mode. helaena offers her life, but the bit where she offers her necklace was incredibly upsetting and endearing bc clearly it hasn't registered with her that these ppl are fr (and she's sheltered so why should it). she's so innocent and her mother could make all nightmares go away. Only for her hopes to be crushed because all of it was reality. The whole b&c scene was filmed as we got into one of Helaena's nightmares/dreams only to understand that it was a reality.
Yes thank you! This was a writing problem not an acting problem
B&C wasn't "ruined". It's the vocal minority of purists who have spent 2 years desperately trying to shape perception & sabotaging a good show for not making sports team come off as flawless heroes & the other team as irredeemable disney villains. Yet to see a single normie reactor who was not moved & B&C. Without the book baggage this would be considered a masterpiece. HOTD just plays these moments differently to GOT & to me personally, that feels more like the bleakness of the world of Asoiaf than the spectacle of GoT ever was. Less about shock, more about creeping unease. Part of watching GoT was about watching other people reacting in horror, surprise, etc. With HOTD I don't feel the pull to watch people shouting at the screen because it would only feel forced to me. HOTD had so many moments in S1 where it could have gone for a sharp stab a la GoT but instead made sure to play things out slowly. It's less interested in specific displays of brutality & more interested in the impact on the bigger picture. GoT (& Breaking Bad) was a show geared towards dramatic Moments. Hotd (& Better Call Saul) is more about everything around those moments & plays them out in a way that feels slower, less brutal & more bleak & dread. GoT had so many moments where it stabbed you, eveb if you saw the knife coming. HOTD is more interested in digging its nails into your skin & slowly pulling a wound open. All these "bring back D&D" posts just makes me know that a lot of so-called purists didn't hate GoT's cheap, gawdy, shock value spectacle writing, what they hated was their self-insert (whether Dany, Jon or Stannis) not sitting the throne. To wake her up from a nightmare which was alas too real. Daemon mentions how Aemond is a great fighter & smirks when asked what happens if they can't find Aemond. It was obv he knew it was an impossible mission. It seems like a lot of fans can't even catch a simple subtext unless it's dumbed down & bluntly spoonfed. Glad the show didn't cater to them.
How much copium did you just snort my dude.
@@lucasbelmonte2832 Way too much lmao. Imagine getting this bent over people wanting a faithfull adaptation.
Damn thats a lot of words. I’m just gonna guess you hate the show or something.
how embarrassing
This is utterly ridiculous you sat down and typed all this drivel.
Probably my favorite actor in the series . Brilliantly done .
🔥🔥
I've never read the books or watched the shows. But this girl is my favorite character. And it breaks my heart how it ends for her in the show. Just seems pointless to kill off the best characters. Idk thays what they do. Make a great thing, then ruin it.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you
She was the true queen. The writers just suddenly fucked up her character coz they liked the starks.
Well, no one disagrees that this is the greatest entry into the world of soap operas
her mom died with the army😢
They didn’t give Paddy an Emmy, didn’t even nominate him. Riot!
song?
Baby face
Who would win hector or leonidas
I fkn loved Lady Mormont… the word legend is thrown around way to loosely these days but she was a real one. I hope if we see her in the books her story is MUCH different and stronger.
She is batter then sansa starck😂
*One of my favorite characters* ❤
Ce mec il avait tout pour être le meilleur personnage de la série
Why did Hector have to die 😭😭
Give her Drogo and unsullied she will destroy whole enemy with her badass attitude in a single episode. she is my second favorite character and first one is Arya stark .
give her dragon she’ll destroy her planet
Otto is such a viscious snake.
And this character had the shittiest and stupidest ending ever.🤮
1000
Damn it, her death is immortalized in my memory and seing this clip made me remember it all again and its scary and heartbreaking but full of bravery till the end.
Stannis-loyalists were the first ones to hate D&D. Then season 8 happened, and everybody realized how awful these two morons are, and turned on them. They desperately tried to make Stannis turn into a villain, and failed miserably. Because this made the fanbase grow even bigger. Hope they never work in a big TV show ever again
I'm still bitter of how they ended the show. The North remembers.
